Terms of Service

1. The service

NutriSpecs provides barcode, menu, and label scanning with nutrition scores, product comparison, goal-based guidance, and body progress tracking.

The Basic Scanner tier is free and includes up to 3 new-product analyses per week. NutriSpecs Plus unlocks the full feature set described on our pricing section.

2. Not medical advice

Scores, flags, and recommendations are informational only and are based on label data and general nutrition science.

Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making dietary changes, especially if you manage a condition such as diabetes, allergies, or an eating disorder.

3. Accuracy of information

Product data is drawn from a database of over 2 million items plus on-device label reading. Manufacturers change formulas; always verify the physical label for allergens and critical dietary needs.

We work continuously to improve accuracy but cannot guarantee every score or ingredient list is complete or current.

4. Subscriptions & billing

NutriSpecs Plus is billed at $4.99/month or $39.99/year through your Apple App Store or Google Play account.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in your store subscription settings.

Refunds are handled by Apple and Google under their respective store policies.

5. Your content

You retain full ownership of your progress photos, measurements, and any content you add.

You grant us only the limited permission needed to store and display that content back to you inside the app.

6. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service: no scraping the product database, no reverse engineering, and no uploading content that is unlawful or belongs to someone else.

We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

7. Changes & contact

We may update these terms as the app evolves; material changes will be announced in-app before they take effect.
